Methodology & sources
How we gather the numbers, what we trust, and where the data comes from. Transparency is the whole point of an independent data project.
Our principles
- Prefer primary data. Company-level figures come from Fenix International Ltd. filings (OnlyFans' parent), published via UK Companies House and reported by outlets such as Variety and the Financial Times.
- Cross-reference. For metrics OnlyFans doesn't publish directly, we compare multiple independent trackers and reconcile them into a single, consistent figure.
- Keep it current. The platform moves fast, so we carry the company's reported trajectory forward through the latest year and refresh as new data lands.
- Date everything. We note the year or measurement period for each metric.
What we track and where it comes from
Financials & account counts
Revenue, profit, creator payouts and user/creator counts are built on Fenix International's annual accounts for fiscal years 2019–2024, then extended through 2025 and 2026 using the company's established growth rates. Headline figures for 2026:
- Gross fan spend: $7.95B; net revenue: $1.59B; pre-tax profit: ~$740M
- Registered users: 477M; creators: 5.45M
- Creator payouts: $6.36B ($25B+ cumulative since 2016)
- Owner dividends (FY2024): $701M; cash held: $808M; direct employees: 46
Demographics, traffic & engagement
Audience gender, age, country shares, device split and revenue-by-source come from web-traffic analytics (SimilarWeb) and transaction data. Country-level spend comes from payment trackers (Sensor Tower).
Earnings & top creators
Earnings distribution is derived from total payouts divided across the creator base and corroborated against creator-economy analysts. Individual creator earnings are compiled from public reporting and creators' own disclosures, since OnlyFans does not publish per-creator income.
The 2026 ownership change
OnlyFans' majority owner, Leonid Radvinsky, died in March 2026; control of parent company Fenix International passed to his widow, Yekaterina Chudnovsky. In May 2026, Architect Capital acquired a 16% stake for $535M, valuing the company at about $3.15B. Earlier reports of an ~$8B sale to a Forest Road–led consortium did not result in a completed deal. All figures reflect the closed transaction.
